NAIROBI: Unknown number of thugs raided the Nairobi home of former South Mugirango MP Omingo Magara and robbed the family of goods of unknown value. The family lives in Nkoroi, Ongata Rongai.
The gang harassed Magara’s wife and children for hours before leaving at about 6am Wednesday. Police say the gang escaped without injuring anyone in the family and that Magara was present at the time of the attack. He stayed in his bedroom as the robbery went on. The gang is said to have escaped in a waiting car to an unknown place and efforts to trace them are ongoing. Elsewhere, a woman was shot and wounded in a robbery in Nkoroi area, Ongata Rongai. The gang had raided a home and was stealing household goods when the woman raised alarm alarming the gang. The woman was shot in the stomach and wounded before the gang escaped. A hunt on them is on.
