Greece referendum: Early results show ‘No’ vote ahead

With 15% of votes counted, results from the Greek referendum on terms for an international bailout suggest a victory for the “No” camp.

Results published by the interior ministry showed about 60% of those whose votes had been counted voting “No”, against some 40% voting “Yes”.

Greece’s governing Syriza party said the bailout terms were humiliating and campaigned for a “No”.

The “Yes” campaign warned this could see Greece ejected from the eurozone.
